A teapot of humble elegance, crafted to reveal the deepest soul of your tea.

Welcome. This ‘Duo Zhi’ teapot is handcrafted in my studio using traditional methods and aged, coarse-grained Zini (purple clay). It embodies the perfect balance of classic form, exceptional functionality, and rustic texture. More than a tool, it is a companion for your daily tea ritual, meant to grow more warm and lustrous with each brew.

Why This ‘Duo Zhi’ Teapot Is Special:

A Timeless, Practical Shape: The ‘Duo Zhi’ is a celebrated classic in Yixing teapot design. Its rounded, generous belly allows tea leaves to fully unfurl, promoting richer aroma and layered flavor development. A versatile “all-rounder” perfect for many tea types.

Authentic Coarse Sand Zini Clay: The soul of this pot lies in its material. This primary ore Zini clay is rich in natural coarse sand particles. Fired, it creates a uniquely textured, mineral-rich surface with subtle light play. This clay structure offers superb porosity, which helps mellow and smooth the tea soup, making it ideal for ripe Pu-erh, aged raw Pu-erh, black tea, and dark oolongs.

Fully Handmade Artistry: Every step—from paddling the clay slab to forming the body—is done by my hands. Inside, you’ll find the telltale “hand-beaten” marks, the irreplicable signature of true craftsmanship. No two pots are exactly alike.

Details & Specifications:

Clay: Authentic Yixing coarse sand Zini (Purple Clay). Stable, easy to season, and develops a beautiful patina over time.

Capacity: ~200ml / ~6.8 fl oz. Ideal for 2-3 people or a personal, multi-infusion session.

Craftsmanship: Traditional, fully handmade.

Finishing: Fired to a high temperature in an electric kiln for optimal stability and color.

For Your Tea Journey:

Best For: Highly recommended for fermented, aged, or roasted teas like Pu-erh, Black Tea, and Yancha (Rock Oolong). Using it primarily for one tea category will allow the clay to enhance flavors more consistently.

Authenticity: I use 100% genuine Yixing Zisha clay and traditional handmade techniques. Photos of the interior texture are provided as proof of handmade origin.

Care & Seasoning: Simple instructions for initial seasoning (“opening the pot”) and daily care will be included. Generally, a gentle cleanse with boiling water and tea leaves, followed by regular use and wiping with a soft cloth, is all it needs.
